Requirements:
1. BA or MA in Economics, Engineering, International Business, Business Administration or equivalent
2. English proficiency for negotiation
3. Strong analytical skill and deductive thinking (cause/effect)
4. Presentation skill (brief, concise, audience targeted), Powerpoint proficiency
5. 5-10 years in the purchasing area, experience in Rail or another high-mix-low-volume industry is preferred
6. Practical work experience with SAP, high skill in Excel (use of pivot tables etc.)
7. Technical knowledge on handling some of the mentioned commodities: Machining parts, Fastener, Investment, Cutting tools, Chemical etc.
8. Experienced in supplier identification, qualification, contracting
9. Experienced to communicate and work in matrix context of an international Group
10. Skilled to sell ideas with fact based arguments
11. Ability to calculate various business cases and TCO
12. Flexible personality and can work under pressure, strong self-motivation and assertiveness
13. Willing to travel and work overtime
14. Used to work independently but aligned with teams and supervisor

Responsibilities:
1. Identify new approaches for continuous improvement and cost reduction
2. Sell new approaches to the local organization and conduct pilot implementations
3. Conduct market research
4. Be responsible for supplier evaluation / selection / contracting
5. Deploy project management for strategic purchasing projects
6. Conduct price negotiations, regional biddings and e-auctions
7. Perform substantial yearly savings
8. Improve actively performance of local suppliers
9. Prepare commodity reports on assigned commodities
10. Deploy and execute functional strategies

薪资：16.5K*13月左右
