Mission The mission of the Procurement Director is leading the team to ensure that customers’ order completed in the highest standards of safety, cost, quality, and timeliness. To monitor inventory level and improve on time delivery to both internal & external customers Provide right goods on time due customer’s need Provide right materials for production on time Control the inventory at right level Secure compliance to China custom regulations
Primary Activities & Responsibilities: Set up and manage a smooth-running planning & ordering system;lead and execute purchasing strategies To supervise the buyer and warehouse team (management of people, performance appraisal, reporting, etc…); Set up purchasing base management system, to have a consistence development purchasing based on the business requirements To monitor stocks of components, raw material & finished goods, by providing updated and relevant indicators; coordinate the duty exemption application and transportation, customs clearance of imported goods To deliver to production dept, on due time, components & raw material needed; To control the inventory balance to a reasonable level; To optimize the work process and improve procurement management through lean manufacturing program To measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management To Apply expertise to specify system functionality for operation and reporting (i.e,.Plex) Keep good communication with supplier for grasping the update status; track and report key functional metrics to reduce expensed and improve effectiveness. When needed, have the suppliers collaboration problem escalated to the strategic sourcing team for support on a timely manner; Ensure the accuracy of daily running result of Plex system, and maintain all records follow procedures; Develops workforce planning for the Department on a mthly and yearly basis Set up and manage a smooth running logistic chain, stock & shipment management, internal material and logistics management system Promote JIT material management and control inventory in a safety and reasonable level,improve ITO continuously. Budgets department Provides financial forecasts and finance data to China Finance Department as needed Ensures that materials are shipped on schedule and regular review the purchasing price of system
Planning and Execution Run purchasing module of ERP system base on MRP result ; create PO; send out for acknowledge and keep the filing follow the procedure; Lead buyer & logistic team to drive logistical cost down Communicate with suppliers to ensure the on-time delivery of material; Ensures compliance with Quality System Regulation.
Change/Visionary and Problem SolvingCoordinate with both supplier & production team to promote JIT material management and control inventory in a safety and reasonable level improve ITO continuously.
