Position Summary

The job is responsible for developing and tracking quality metrics,managing quality issues at customer site, developing partner relationships withsuppliers.

Reports: Plant manager

Functionally to: Manager of Global Purchasing and Supply ChainManagement China

               

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ÿ   Train and develop the SQE engineers to fulfill the requirement ofthe material quality assurance;

Ÿ   Interface with the other functions, departments and highermanagerial levels on issues pertaining to supplier performance and qualitymatters;

Ÿ   Lead team to approve supplier selection through robust qualificationprocesses;

Ÿ   Lead suppliers compliance to SCC quality management system andregulatory requirements through supplier monitoring process;

Ÿ   Develop positive relationships and work closely with Global SourcingLeaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, new product introductions,and transfers;

Ÿ   Technically support IQC;

Ÿ   Monitor and drive the supplier continuous improvement;

Ÿ   Conduct QBR and ensure SPS accuracy;

Ÿ   Conduct supplier survey, plant audit and participate supplierqualification;

Ÿ   Develop comprehensive plant level supplier improvement strategiesand ensure effective quality systems are implemented at suppliers;

Ÿ   Performs miscellaneous related duties and special projects asassigned.
