一.Purpose Of the Position
Lead the Global sourcing activities in Asia.
二.Key Responsibilities
1、Identify, source, and develop the supply base in Asia
2、Identify capable suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
3、Develop suppliers to meet our product requirements
4、Work with suppliers on continuous improvement activities
5、Troubleshoot supply, quality, and production issues
6、Build and leverage relationships with suppliers
7、Research and understand the Asia market with respect to our products
8、Support other functions to gain information or visit suppliers, competitors, etc.
9、Work with the Sourcing team to define and execute sourcing strategies
10、Support visits from Sourcing and other functions to the region.
11、Understand regional and plant issues and develop strategies to support.
12、Commitment to EHS, implement EHS policies, procedures and legislative requirement
Commitment to quality, implement quality management system& its related requirements

三.Position Requirements
1、Building suppliers’ understanding of our product and part requirements
2、Learning commodity specific processes and challenges
3、Utilizing engineering skills to resolve supplier related issues and non-conformances
4、Working with various manufacturing locations to resolve incoming part issues
5、Evaluating and approving new suppliers
6、Leading and managing sourcing projects to new and existing suppliers
7、Supplier negotiation and cost analysis
8、Sourcing strategy
9、Developing and managing First Article Process
10、Managing programs designed to reduce the total cost while maintaining quality
11、Interfacing with product management, engineering, and manufacturing for support of new product programs
12、Generating project reports, and providing frequent status updates to all levels of the organization.

四.Attribute Requirements
1、Basic understanding of manufacturing, quality, and engineering prints
2、Basic understanding of Supply chain management
3、Negotiation and supplier development experience
4、Basic Project management experience
5、Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
6、Ability to self-manage and make decisions.
7、Ability to lead cross functional teams.

1、Approve use of regional suppliers for BLY
2、Negotiate basic pricing and terms with suppliers BLY
