Reports To:  Sr.Manager Purchasing

Location：Shanghai

Function:  Central Purchasing

Overview:

The purpose of this position is to develop and manage global supply chaininitiatives for CVS and related CVS Commodities especially ferrous castings andforgings.  The incumbent will beresponsible for both strategic and tactical aspects of supply chain procurementincluding sourcing, supplier negotiations, strategic procurement, quality anddelivery improvements, VA/VE, project management.  In addition the incumbent will be responsiblefor coordinating commodity-sourcing strategies for CVS worldwide.

CoreResponsibilities:

·     Develop andimplement Global sourcing strategies

·     Material cost reduction

·     Supply chainoptimization

·     Supplier delivery& quality improvements

·     Initiate  and implement Supplier Development Plan

·     Implementation ofVCI initiatives

·     Global commodityresponsibility and/or business unit regional responsibility

·     Implementation ofeProcurement initiatives/Reverse Auction.

·     Business Acumen(Analytical, Program Management and Planning Skills)

Technical/ProfessionalKnowledge and Skills:

• 5+ years experience in     castings/forging/stamping/machining or relevant commodities or production     applications preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically or globally
  

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering related major.
  

RequiredQualifications:

• Strong understanding of supply base of specific     commodities and have insight of industry
• Strong automotive and/ or Tier 1 business     perspective.
• Good English communication skills in both oral and     written communication
• Strong leadership skills required with a     demonstrated ability to gain consensus in cross-functional team atmosphere
