Job Description:

Position:      SourcingManager

Report to:     ManagingDirector, Dotted report to CPO in group

Subordinator:  Sourcing Team+ SQE Team

Main Objective:  

l Develop sourcing strategy, plan and execute the Sourcing/Procurement /SupplierManagement projects to meet business need.

Responsibilities:

-         Set up and implement the Sourcing /Supplier Management policies, systems andregulations within the company;

-         Develop Sourcing /Supplier Management strategy, plan and execute the projects to meet business need;

-         Source andqualify right suppliers and factories.

-         Assist tocontrol the material inventory at reasonable level;

-         To ensuresupplies and services cost-effectively and keep the delivery to meet thedemands of sales and production planning;

-         Developcalculations for ongoing projects;

-         Regularlyreport purchasing status, update cost reduction plan;

-         Continuousplan for optimization of purchasing costs;

-         Analyzesupplier capability/capacity/quality/delivery performance and price.

-         Proactivelyidentify potential products – new items.

-         Compilerelevant business reports and recaps to customers/buyers for better understandand manage the business

-         Lead andmanage a team of sourcing staff to identify sourcing program for local andglobal supplies.

-         Maintain andupdate the performance data of each supplier on a regular basis.

-         Build andmaintain relationships with suppliers and customers.

-         To maintainexcellent market intelligence on product specifications and technologicaladvances and competitive information.

-         Any otherreasonable duties requested.
