Job Purpose- Manage and coordinate all sourcing activities, drive overall purchasing performance and lead transformative change efforts within RSO Category Sourcing - Responsible for managing and building a sourcing organization with required infrastructure to execute best-in-class strategic sourcing - Responsible for achieving performance targets set by Head of RSO by leveraging total cost of ownership levers, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the organization, and cooperating will all key stakeholders within BA MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- - Responsible for adherence to internal and external policies, regulations and laws - Responsible for suppliers’ compliance on Sandvik policies and guidelines including EHS, Supplier Code of Conduct etc. - Together with Clusters/Categories/Supplier KAM manage and develop a sustainable supplier base that supports BA strategy - Together with Clusters/Categories/Supplier KAM lead and support negotiations for suppliers within RSO -Manage RSO compliance with, and use of, global and local contracts -Together with Clusters/Categories/Supplier KAM manage supplier quality performance measurement and reporting and be actively involved in supplier performance evaluation; - Monitor supply markets, interpret market intelligence and develop supplier profiles for key suppliers - Manage implementation of category savings projects to optimize total cost of ownership for categories - Lead planning efforts - prepare annual and long-term strategic sourcing plans which identify how the RSO Category Sourcing intends to achieve RSO targets - Drive performance in RSO Category Sourcing by set targets and KPIs - Identify and manage implementation of category savings projects globally to optimize total cost of ownership for category -Secure implementation of processes, systems and tools - Collaborate with PAs and Global Category Managers to ensure sharing and implementation of best practices, execution of continues improvements, and implementation of global strategies -Establish relationships with other functions (e.g. engineering, operations, marketing, quality) to ensure understanding and support of strategic sourcing perspective to key processes -Ensure the RSO team play an active role in all projects to achieve design to cost targets - Ensure active coordination and communication with common suppliers across PAs, and RSO, PDC and other function teams within AC - Support development and implement global category strategies through development of local category strategies; including priorities, targets and action plans for RSO Category Sourcing - Attract talent, manage and develop organization; including hiring, training and development, retention, coaching, motivating and succession planning -Provide annual budgetary estimates including manpower, assets, equipment etc.; manage and control expenses within budget -Jointly together with Head of RSO Director establish working processes to ensure clear definitions of roles and responsibilities within RSO Category Sourcing, aligned with Project Sourcing, Supplier Quality - Continuously update and manage sourcing information in SPD (Savings Project Database), ERP, and other company system according to policies and procedures
