Title: China Procurement
Client: The client provide professional technology value-added services.
In the granular activated carbon production technology and calgon
carbon corporation is the world leader in sales, have more than
100 kinds of activated carbon products, widely used in drinking
water purification, wastewater treatment, air purification, food and
chemical processes purification, and the application of special field.
Mr Okada projects solutions can also be used in medium voltage
uv water purification process of oxidation and disinfection
technologies.
Reporting to: General Manager,China
Location: China
Requirements:
 Minimum 5~8 years experience in managing suppliers or contract manufacturers in
Chinese business environment.
 Proven track record in procurement of raw materials or finished products in
chemical-related industries.
 Good knowledge of coal chemicals/coal will be an advantage.
 Preferably with chemistry or chemical engineering degree.
 Good spoken/written English and comfortable with preparing reports in English.
 Has high professional and personal integrity and adhere to corporate guidelines
Responsibilities:
 Manage close but aggressive relationship with a wide network of suppliers
 Work independently and with short notices to secure the best pricing deals
 Proactively keep in-tune with market changes
 Spend 70% in domestic travels to scout for suppliers and new products from different
geographical areas in China
 Maintain and regularly update pricing and market trends in Excel worksheets
