I. POSISTION PURPOSE:
To source/develop/grow commodity suppliers related to plastics parts, steel material, stamping, laser cut, surface treatment etc.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY:
Takes and support cross-functional team’s initiatives around total cost improvements and supply vulnerability reductions.
Brings approved suppliers into development projects to support new product development.
Negotiates commodity pricing for all outsourced materials and/or parts in accordance with target costs and departmental goals.
Maintains close relationships with suppliers and take a proactive approach in interfacing with them to resolve issues.
Identifies any gaps within the existing supply base relative to future product development.

II. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education –Bachelor Degree in machinery Engineering or relevant field
Related mechanical major.
Proved experience on commodity sourcing: steel material, stamping, laser cut.
Proved experience on VA/VE with suppliers.
Proved leadership to drive functional group to solve problems.
At least sourcing experience 5 years. on outdoors products and equipment.
Fluency in both Written & Oral English.
Willingness to travel within the region.
Preferred to have foreign company working experience
Good attitude to cooperate

Will focus on
1. Plastic commodity management
2. Powder metal commodity management
3. Transmission and oversea supplier management
4. Lead PPAP from new supplier development till mass production, monitor supplier performance scoring.
